Step to put Favicon in Blogger.

Favicon is a small icon(image) displayed at the beginning of the address bar of the browser.It is also called Favourite Icon,Pageicon and urlicon.The main advantage of creating favicon is ,it makes it easy to find your blog or site when someone favourited or bookmarked your site/blog among several other sites.Just you have to remember that  your favicon must be of 16*16 or 32*32.sized Not more than this .

The step for creating favicon are given below.

  1. Log into your Blogger 
  2. Then go to template layout.
  3. Click in  EDIT HTML button.
  4. Search for <HEAD>
  5. Then below this search for <title><data:blog.pagetitle/></title> 
  6.  Just below above code paste <link href='icon file url ' rel='shortcut icon'type='image/vnd.microsoft.icon'/&gt ;
  7. Give the image sorce in place of   icon file url   
  8. Now save your template.

Now enjoy your blog with Favicon
